Belfer Center email update template
The Client: The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard Kennedy School in Cambridge, MA
The Project: Improve cross-platform display and layout of weekly email newsletters (circulation 16,000)
The Details: Although I consulted on the design of the Belfer Center's email updates, I did not have approval of the final code. After months of using the template delivered by the agency that designed the Belfer Center website and email updates, I (and other Center staff) decided that the coded template was difficult to work with and that there were some minor inconsistencies across mail readers. I re-coded the template from scratch, making it more approachable for non-technical users and fixing the display inconsistencies.
